Join us for an inspiring day at the historic Rochester Shire Hall on Thursday 22 February from 11am-5:00pm, as we host a thought-provoking symposium exploring the powerful intersection of Creative Recovery and Regional Arts. This event brings together visionaries and experts to delve into how creativity can spark healing in communities and elevate the arts in regional areas.
Who should attend?
The day will feature an incredible lineup of speakers offering insights into the transformative potential of art. Keynote Speakers Dr Vic McEwan (CAD Factory) and Scotia Monkivitch (Creative Recovery Australia) will talk about their work in art and recovery in regional communities. The two panels are an incredible selection of artists and arts workers, including Ian Tully (Swan Hill Art Gallery), Kristen Retallick (Shepparton Festival), Dr D’Arcy Molan (Chair of ACT Natimuk) and musician, Nina O’Brien (FRRR), and Meg Sargent (Ripple Fest- Rochester Creative Co-Design).
After the program, we’ll treat you to a unique Art Dinner where creativity and cuisine meet, created by renowned food curator Jamie Lewis.
And to cap off the evening, Ant and Paul from Bendigo will enchant us with a stunning mix of immersive projections and live music, creating a truly unforgettable experience.
