Moama Grammar Drumlines

The Moama Anglican Grammar Drumline is a dynamic and award-winning ensemble that showcases the school’s commitment to excellence in music education. Under the expert guidance of Mr. Kevin Kiely, the Drumline offers two levels: Drumline A for intermediate and advanced percussion students, and Drumline B for beginners and intermediates .

In August 2023, the Senior Drumline achieved national recognition by placing first in Division 2 of the Australian Drumline Competition in Melbourne. Their performance was a testament to their dedication and the high standard of instruction they receive.

The Drumline actively engages with the community through performances at significant events as ANZAC Day services, Easter Sunday Fireworks celebrations, Teddy Bears Picnic, Run Echuca Moama and the Moama Recreation Reserve’s Carols by Candlelight. Additionally, students benefit from specialised workshops, including sessions with D²Drumline members, enhancing their skills and exposure to professional standards.

With a focus on discipline, teamwork and musical excellence, the Moama Anglican Grammar Drumline continues to inspire students and audiences alike, embodying the school’s values of compassion, respect and integrity.
