Linden Lancaster

Linden’s work is deeply connected to place, reflecting the landscapes, people, and stories that shape her home on the edge of the Barmah National Park in Northern Victoria, Australia. Living on a farm at the doorstep of the forest, she is surrounded by the shifting dynamics of drought, flood, and fire – elements that regularly appear in her work.

An internationally exhibited and award-winning artist, Linden draws on over 15 years of experience as an art quilter and has expanded her practice to include painting, printing, and collage on paper and board. Her work is informed by active participation in environmental groups such as the Superb Parrot Project and the Nathalia Wildflower Group.

As an explorer of the interaction between media and subject, Linden is inspired by the interplay of natural and cultural elements in the landscape she calls home. Sharing this passion with others through art is integral to her practice, as she strives to inspire connection and dialogue with diverse audiences.
