Join Graf artists Retayner, Poison and Matt McMillan for a fun, creative and collaborative Street Art workshop that will be an immersive and informative experience!
This workshop is perfect for young people to explore the world of street art and legal graffiti!
In this hands-on session, participants will collaborate in painting certain marked spots in an already outlined street art piece with the corresponding number marked on numbered cans of paint. Creating a painting with number experience on a larger scale as well as education and an insight into the street art world.
Creating the street art piece with these materials such as paint cans, you’ll learn simple techniques to bring your street art creations or lettering to life. Then throughout out the Ripple Fest event people either involved with the workshops or not can take their photos in front of the art.
This workshop is ideal for children and young people alike, encouraging creativity, collaboration and hands-on learning in a relaxed, family-friendly environment. At the end of the festival, you’ll be able to take away not only your knowledge learnt, but also memories of community connections and a collaborative art experience.
There would also be live demonstrations of a temporary installation of plastic pallet wrapping around two trees to create a temporary surface that these artists would paint street art on that can be removed after the festival which I will attach an example of below.
