Artist Linden Lancaster will take participants on an exploration of the local surroundings, collecting found objects such as leaves and feathers to create unique prints using a gelatin plate. Gelatin printing is a form of mono-printing, where each print is a one-of-a-kind impression that cannot be exactly replicated. This organic and imperfect process produces exciting and dynamic marks.
Linden will guide participants through various techniques to create layered and textured prints on different types of paper. The workshop will provide plenty of inspiration and opportunities for further creative exploration.
Be prepared to have a lot of fun!
