Join artist Sonya Else for a fun, creative and collaborative mushroom-making workshop that will see your creations installed on the Yakoa river as a temporary Ripple Fest activation!

This workshop is perfect for families to explore their playful creative side!

In this hands-on session, participants will craft their very own river mushrooms using a range of materials such as Tyvek, wire and acrylic paints. Creating mushrooms with these materials to shape mushroom caps and stems, you’ll learn simple techniques to bring your fungi creations to life.

Then on Saturday 24 May we’ll install our little creations on the banks of the river together for people to enjoy.

No prior crafting experience needed, just bring your imagination!
